We took a night bus and it was almost 4am by the time we arrive. I shared a room with Joenn and her mum while the guys shared another room directly opposite.
chris and jack. waiting to check in
They day started off with awesome dim sum breakfast at 云华宫, a chinese restaurant located outside one of Genting Hotel's casinos.
I ♥ dim sum.
We went to the theme park after breakfast.
The day passed quickly after several queues for the rides. It was almost dinner time and we met up with Joenn's family and headed to mushroom farm for dinner.
After dinner, we started drinking in the room. Then, we brought liquor into Studio K Family Karaoke.

Lol. check out Jack's tipsy face.
Me and Chris
Chris and Joenn on a duet - 一眼瞬间
It was the first time I heard Chris sing and I remembered vividly that the first song he sang was one of my favorites, 王力宏 - 依然爱你. Like many others agreed, he has a gift for singing. It has been some time since I've heard something good in KTV.
Frankly speaking, I didn't remember much on what happened after the KTV as I was high on alcohol already. Bits and pieces were Chris, Joenn and I having supper at a new eatery opposite the casino and we had some cam-whoring session.
US.
our first self shot together :)
I remembered a part where someone stepped on my slippers and it snapped, and I ended up wanting to trash the person with my slippers lol.
don't ask me why i turned barbaric
After the supper, we went back to our room and continued drinking...
As we all had a long night, we woke up in time for lunch the next day at Causeway Bay, one of the restaurants serving better Chinese food.

We were supposed to return back to Singapore on day 2, which falls on a Sunday. But, we didn't seem to have enough fun and there was still a bottle of liquor left. Hence, we called back to work and took leave on Monday, extending another day in Genting. :)
Day 2 was more relaxed. We spent time walking around, going into casinos, eating etc. Casino is not really what I fancy. I tried my luck and decided to stop investing further. Still tired from the night before, Chris accompanied me back to our connecting rooms for some rest while Jack, Andy and Joenn continued their venture in the casino.

Well, holidays are supposed to be relaxing and fulfilling, which means you need adequate rest and food and fun. After I had my afternoon nap, it's time for dinner!!
Day 2 dinner was at 云华宫, the same place where we had dim sum on day 1. In my opinion, the food tasted much better than Ah Yat Abalone Forum Restaurant. Definitely worth the 15 minutes walk from First World Hotel.
After dinner, I joined the guys for some beer while Joenn went to the casino with her family. We used our worldcard to redeem free beer vouchers :)
After the beer, we headed back to the room to finish off the bottle of Martell. Then, we walked back to Genting Hotel's Cloud Nine for some beer and music and fun.
happy party people
sneaking up on Andy.
asked a random stranger to take a group shot for us.
Again, I could not remember much on the rest of the night as there were hardly any photos taken. Some flashbacks were we went seperate ways at some point, followed by Chris and I heading for more beer at some provision shop beside the Old Town White Coffee. We brought the beer back to the hotel, finished it, and fell asleep...
When you see this picture, it means that it's time to go home. We bought our return tickets from Transtar at RM60, more expensive that the usual RM40-45. It was supposed to be a 'luxurious' coach, but it ended up the same as what we took from Singapore to Genting. Also, we had some awesome Penang Fried Kway Tiao at the bus terminal. It is one of my must-haves in Genting even though I have to pick out the bean sprouts one by one again.
Goodbye Genting!
